About the Report


Taiwan has just under 100k  m2 of Data Centre raised floor space as of the beginning of 2021, with the key Taiwanese Data Centre Providers including – AIS Data Centers, Chief Telecom, Hinet Data Centers, Far EasTone, Digicentre, Genesis Technology, NTT Com (Global Data Centers) and eASPnet.  


 


The only key CSP with a presence in Taiwan is GCP (Google Cloud Platform) with three availability zones in Taipei. Google has had a dedicated Data Centre facility in Taipei since the end of December 2013, its second facility in the Asia Pacific region (after Singapore). Other CSPs provide access to users in Taiwan from Singapore or other surrounding countries.
